Because boric acid in powdered form is non hazardous, this product ships safely without the restrictions that apply to liquid flux solutions. Each 1 quart container holds the correct measured amount of powdered boric acid to be mixed with 1 quart of methanol (methyl alcohol)creating the flux solution recommended for most metalworking
