Beads size averages 14mm long by 4-5mm wide for these "squashed" (slightly flattened) ovals

Antique Clear and Purple Dogon Beads from the 1700s rectangle Photo shows front and back40" graduated strand of clear, smokey, and purple glass Dogon Beads. Dutch made beads circa the early 1700s and traded in Mali. Graduated strand of 9mm x 13mm to huge 22mm x 23mm! Pock marks, cracks and damage are visible, but these beads are around 250 years old. This strand has many purple glass which is exceptionally rare!
