This is not an especially big Charmes but it’s deceptively structured as the mid-palate seems quite forward yet the finish tightens up substantially while still remaining impeccably well-balanced

This will need a few years to better integrate its wood and develop additional depth

Domaine Faiveley, Beaune Ecu Vintage:2019 Tasted blindA mildly reduced nose still seems both fresh and ripe thanks to the excellent vibrancy of the nicely concentrated and tautly muscular flavors that possess a beguiling underlying tension that carries over to the youthfully austere and sneaky long finish. This firmly structured effort will require at least a decade to reach its peak.
