Villa Bel Air Vintage:2009 There is a lovely senseTaut, with a lightly firm chalky frame to the damson plum and bitter cherry notes. Good spice and toasty vanilla hints emerge more on the finish. Should settle in with modest cellaring. Drink now through 2014. JM
