named after Nicolas’ younger daughter and was the first vineyard ever planted in Gualtallary

I am not sure how Angelo Gaja and his team do it

Charles Lachaux, Volnay Les Santenots Vintage:2018 super-ripe wineThis too is conspicuously floral in character with its more elegant and spicier aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is cut with hints of earth, anise and violet. There is even better volume and power to the muscular and lightly mineral inflected flavors that culminate in a compact, dusty and very serious finale. This appears to be quite promising though note well that at least moderate patience is advised.
