It definitely has a few dark spots but I've not tried to polish it as I really like it just the way it is

The white irregularities seem for the most part to be indigenous to the stone rather than dings to the surface

I try to resist purchasing larger things

and just loved it for how mid-century it feels and for its almost manic quality

but am pretty certain she is quite old

Preacher (?) on Doorstep, Lamont, Oklahoma, Antique Real Photo Postcard sculptural candle It definitely has a fewI'm assuming this man is a preacher, and that it is a bible held tightly in his grip, but I don't know for certain; I suppose he could be a door to door salesman! In any event, he certainly looks like a man on a mission, and to me the look on his face suggests he is contemplating his next move. I really love how he is framed by the four painted posts on the porch, with door and window behind, and also how the step down is cropped just out of the image
