Beautifully Primitive Old Canadian Folk Art Wooden Animals mayan pottery Between his face and handsI found these along with the antique Inuit miniature sled just listed, and while I don't believe they originally belonged together, I do believe, based on a note from the seller, that these are Canadian in origin too, of a similar age, and if not Inuit certainly they feel aligned in sensibility and essence, with a beautiful no fuss sort of elegance and gravitas to them. Lots of power and fortitude expressed in the forms of those blocky carved bodies!
