The fineness of this example makes me think it has a good bit of age to it

They are quite substantial in thickness and weight

Board measures 19" x 15 1/8

adding up to just about the most purely beautiful set of dominoes as I can imagine

A little toning along the right edge

Pretty Little Antique Hand-Carved Lid hand-knit boy doll The fineness of this exampleI'm pretty certain this was once the lid on a chip carved folk art box, as there is still a tiny pin in it at one corner, where it would have attached. I'm sorry not to have the whole box, but alas this piece was saved, as it's quite a pretty piece I think, and an old, with a terrific patina. I'd probably put a tiny hook on the back and hang it on the wall. 3 7 8" x 3 9 16" and in very good, presumed antique, condition.
