Yellow Bearded Pale Iris, Delicate Antique Watercolor Swedish man Terry rendered this scene onI will never tire of antique folk art watercolors of flowers largely painted by women and girls and a lot about close looking, and as was explicitly noted on a watercolor of an iris by a different maker that I listed last week, in many cases these were of flowers women "raised" themselves several points of pride at once. I really like the attention paid to the petals and "beard" on this single bloom, treated a bit like a scientific specimen! Paper 7 5
