It makes a wonderful soft rattle when held and gently shaken, a bit like a drift wood wind chime knocking in the breeze. It is a very old one, 19th c. I am sure, with a phenomenal patina to the dry pine. Not a missing piece and really stunning. Approx 5 5 8 cubed. Small
