Crusty, Drippy "Ugly" Signed Stoneware Pitcher pueblo pottery I pass by a lot

I pass by a lot of old pyrographed boxes as the imagery tends to be fairly repetitive

and the silver-plate is in good shape too

Closed it measures 4 1/2" w x 6 3/4" t x 3/4" deep

This terrific vintage set of round stacking blocks on post would be a great gift for a child

Though they've never been my thing, and are usually way out of reach, I've been paying some attention to antique folk pottery jugs lately, to which this one, I don't think especially old, seems to pay homage. I'm not sure if the large "X"s incised into the sides were decorative or signaling rejection of this pitcher as a keeper (!),
