The Giant's Causeway, County Antrim, Northern Ireland Product:Canvas Two gentlemen hitch their trousersThe Giant's Causeway, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, 1924 1926. Legend has it that the Irish giant, Finn McCool, built the Giant's Causeway in order to cross the Irish sea to fight his Scottish counterpart, Benandonner. The scientific explanation is that it was formed by a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, with the mainly hexagonal basalt columns forming as the lava cooled.
