They look to be a match in terms of age though

No holes or loose threads

on a piece of thin copper--heavy enough to endure but thin enough to bend

in typical Dutch manner

There's rarely a closed box of this sort I don't shake to see if there might be something (like kindergarten blocks!) inside, which was wise in this case or I might never have known there were four more boxes, of perfectly graduated scales, housed within it. (With subtly graduated patinas to the wood, too, the smallest looking as though it had never seen the light of day since its construction in 1892! Signed ASW,
