Round Ball in Cage Inside of Cage Carved Whimsy child made boat in purple colored pencilIt seems possible that this whimsy was carved of some sort of nut pod (one sometimes sees Brazil nut podscarved into whimsy rattles), but this is quite different I'm not sure. At any rate, a pretty unusual one, all the better for the fact that you can roll it around! The cage inside the larger cage moves rolls around inside it, as does the ball inside of it, a little bit! 2" x 1 3 4" and in good shape, with little carved marks all over, original to it
