Seascape with Boat, 1945 Folk Art Painted Seashell kansas bird The print at bottom onSpending a lot of time on the New England coast, I've come to very much appreciate folk art painted shells (and being from the clamming hub of Ipswich, MA, I especially like a painted clam shell), but it's none to often I come across one as charming as this. Written on the flip side of the shell, in pencil, appears to be the phrase "speed boat", and a great little boat it is, red flag waving at front, set against rich blue sea and sky. Very
