Early 20th C. Handmade Dollhouse Chair with Great Details carved columns but the box and booklet

but the box and booklet are in excellent condition and overall it's about as good as could be

but am not sure where it originated

and it looks more as if the chip-carved layers were carved away from the lid rather than added

with an old taped repair to a tear along the right edge

I believe. Terrific hand carved detailing of the back, legs and seat, which a mix of gold, creamy white and blood red paint. It's a bit hard to tell if all carved of one piece of wood or whether the legs were adhered; I think perhaps the latter, but if so very well done and completely square and
