The Valentine consists of multiple layers: a being backing paper, a brick red fragile paper, and the lacy detailed sentiments filled with floral elements, romantic symbolism, and plenty of cupids. The center says, "Be the Star of my destiny" and "I could love thee ever & ever". The layers have been glued, I do not know what type of adhesive was used otherwise in very good antique condition with
