I especially love the rather goofy expression on this one

perhaps watching fish swimming by

of a great scale with a warm and wonderful presence

but  their clothing is suggests they are laborers to me

with a little (original) messiness to the paint job and scuffs here and there

And what a horse, clearly a boy horse, with blue penis to match its blue legs. I also like that it looks as if wearing aerator shoes, with spikes extending. And of course the star on that saddle. Great. Framed as found, under glass in an old gold gessoed frame: 11 1 2" x 8 1 2". Sight: 9 5 8" x 6 1 2". Old water stain at lower left, but otherwise good condition, chalk
