John Nachorny, 1970 {HISTORY} A working artist throughout his entire career, Polish American painter John Nachorny (1908 1989) immigrated to the United States in 1912. Settling with his family in Cleveland, Ohio, he began studying art as a young boy through classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland School of Art. Despite these
