I was sold on the cover alone, but then a series of engravings inside very closely related, each as good as the next, and making me think of antique retablo paintings as much as anything, very gothic! Photos give a good sense, though the yellow of the cover is all the richer and more dramatic feeling in hand. The book is the Christian
