was certainly done about the same time

and strong

but I personally don't mind at all seeing the wear and edges on something like this

Chicago, 1936) dating the 1960s. I find his drawings quite potent; ambiguous but highly charged, seeming to portray psychological states as well as interpersonal dynamics, including exertions of power and expressions of vulnerability and feeling pretty archetypal as they do.
