Rossignol Trapet, Gevrey Chambertin Clos Prieur other_regions_italy 100% stems)(planted in 1985). A markedly more elegant nose shows aromas of the essence of red pinot fruit, spice, lavender and a hint of spiced tea. There is very good volume to the delicious and energetic middle weight flavors that retain good detail on the saline and youthfully austere finish that is presently a bit tough. While the tannins will undoubtedly soften with time in bottle, its not clear whether this will ultimately harmonize.
