Description
The two plots total one hectare at 950 meters in altitude
but neither weighty nor over the top as might be expected for a wine of such extreme richness
flowers and crushed shell
well balanced
this is both ripe and brooding with slightly riper aromas of roasted plum
Gerard Raphet, Chambolle Musigny Brut Zero The two plots total one(from Les Bussires; note that this wine in some markets is labeled as such). Ripe aromas combine moderately high toned notes of red currant, raspberry and even a wisp of cranberry with those of exotic tea, spice and a hint of violet. The rich, caressing and very round middle weight flavors conclude in a firm and lingering if mildly edgy finish. This is really quite pretty though the balance isnt completely dialed in.
