And of the same era I believe, 1940s. Nice all over aging to the gray paint, hand painted details in white and pink, and tacked metal eyes on either side. It is largely due to lighting differences that the gray appears different in shade from front to back here, but the pink on the button eye on the reverse side does change its disposition a bit! Both
