Princess Mary, later Queen Mary I Finish:none Carrington House'Princess Mary, later Queen Mary I', c1537, (1902). Mary Tudor (1516 1558) was Queen of England and Queen of Ireland from 1553 until her death. Mary, the fourth and penultimate monarch of the Tudor dynasty, is remembered for her attempt to return England from Protestantism to Roman Catholicism.
