Grange Saint Sauveur was founded in 2017 by Alice Gitton Pouponneau and Antoine Pouponneau in Le Thoureil, Anjou, right on the Loire. 'Chenin Centenaire' comes from their parcel of century old Chenin Blanc on a gently sloping clay limestone hillside, farmed biodynamically, hand harvested, and fermented with native yeasts.
