Salvia Jeans Jewel Pycnanthemum Salvia glabrescens clumps enlarge annuallySalvia 'Jean's Jewel' is a Salvia guaranitica hybrid from California's Cabrilla College that's thrived for us since 2016. The 5' tall stalks are clothed with wonderfully pungent foliage, and topped, starting for us in mid June with 11" spikes of byzantine violet flowers that continue for months. Unlike Salvia guaranitica, which spreads too vigorously for most gardens, Salvia 'Jean's Jewel' has a much more refined, 3' wide growth habit.
