2019 Cantina Giardino Vino Rosso 1.5L magnum, Campania, Italy Castilla y León Distilled from 70% malted barleyThis entry level red wine from Cantina Giardino is only released in magnum. The label for this Rosso was actually the first one designed for the di Grutollas by an artist friend. It was deemed too dark for a first release and so they opted for another drawing from the same artist, a dragon sipping a glass of red while sitting on a barrel. You may recognize that label as Drogone. The vines are planted in heavy clay over limestone.
