2024 Ulli Stein Alfer Holle '1900' Riesling Kabinett Trocken Mosel, Germany Aldo Conterno Disgorged November 2023a small 1,200 vine plot located in the village of Alf, tucked luckily between two residential houses, and thus largely ignored and forgotten until Ulli got the rights to the vineyard in 2011. Largely planted in the year 1900, this is the second oldest known Riesling producing vineyard in the world. Less than 1,000 liters produced each vintage, from red iron riddled slate the wine has a stirn density, terse and very fine phenolics from small berries
