Description
The wine is aged for approximately 18 months in predominantly new French oak barrels
removed from the Saar in a side valley and facing south
Vine Age: Chardonnay planted in the late 1980s
A significant portion of the vines are aged between 40 to 60 years
The grapes are destemmed and macerate for one to three days then ferment and age in barrel
