2022 Rita & Rudolf Trossen 'Pyramide Purus' Riesling Mosel, Germany Les Grandes Vignes Two weeks’ worth of whole-clusterThe Pyramide vineyard features south and east facing slopes, and the vines are planted with extreme density forcing them to dive deep into the soil for nutrients. The vines are 35 years old, and grow on grey and blue slate. The fruit is whole bunch fermented in large wood vats, and aged on the lees for 11 months. The wine is bottled with no filtration or sulfur addition.
